Protect Our West Texas Landscape is an organization of people who care about the preservation of the heritage and landscape of scenic areas of West Texas. Our members live just south of Abilene, Texas in a scenic area of Taylor County that stretches from the city of Buffalo Gap, Texas to just west of historic Coronado’s Camp along State highway 89.
Many of us were born and raised in this part of Texas. All of us have a love for the heritage and landscape of this beautiful Taylor County natural resource.
This website provides information about this beautiful area in West Texas, the destruction of the area by the construction of wind farms, the truth about wind farm produced energy, and information about our fight with FPL Energy, LLC and others to prevent the further destruction of scenic areas here and elsewhere by the construction of wind farmers. |
